The antioxidants and beta-carotene have cancer protective properties.

They also are rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin (a mood stabilizer) and also melatonin, which most adults are deficient in.

Superfood Detox Salad Recipe

Ingredients
Salad
  • 3 cups Spring Mix
  • 1 bunch of chopped parsley
  • 1 pc avocado sliced
  • 1 pc Beet peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup walnuts chopped
  • ¼ red onion sliced
  • ¼ Pumpkin seeds
  • Feta cheese (optional)
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • mineral salt
Instructions
  1. Whisk all salad ingredients.

  2. Then drizzle dressing on top of salad.

  3. Enjoy a healthy meal!
