Ok- these are delish!!
There is nothing worse than soggy fries- right? That is just gross.
These sweet potato fries are nice, crisp and guilt free!! There is no flour to coat them in, no frying and a minimal amount of a healthy fat!
Perhaps the perfect sweet potato fry- seriously! The garlic powder and paprika give these fries a great flavor, without overpowering the sweet potatoes.
I like to cut my potatoes long and thin- nice and crunchy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside.
The cooking time will vary to your idea of the “perfect fry”. If they are cut a little thicker, they will need longer in the oven.
Try these fries with my SPICY TURKEY BURGERS
- 2 sweet potatoes peeled and sliced into whatever “fry” size you prefer
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Place oven rack to top level. Preheat to 425 degrees.
Line baking sheet w parchment paper
Toss sweet potatoes in oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.
Arrange on cookie sheet in a single layer, be sure not to overcrowd.
Bake until tender and golden brown, turn occasionally. Bake 18-24 minutes
