Detox Bone Broth Soup is my “go-to” food when I need to de-bloat and cleanse my body. I make several batches of the Detox Bone Broth Soup at a time to so I can keep a couple of quart-size bags in the freezer. I’ve experimented with a lot of bone broth soups to detox, and this is one of the healthiest and most delicious recipes I’ve EVER made.

 I know this may sound a little crazy, but my body actually craves this Detox Bone Broth Soup!

The Detox Bone Broth Soup works wonders on my belly bloat, especially after I’ve over-indulged in too much eating or drinking. This Detox Bone Broth Soup is a must for me after any traveling, vacation or holiday eating!

This soup is very green because of the number of GREEN vegetables included. I know that might be a turn-off to some, BUT, I encourage you to give this Detox Bone Broth Soup a try. I genuinely love the taste-the turmeric, ginger and fresh lemon juice give it a bright, fresh flavor.

There is a reason my belly bloat and inflammation decrease immediately. Below I’ve listed just a few of the benefits from each of these superfoods in the Detox Bone Broth Soup.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Ginger: Promotes proper digestion. Relieves joint and muscle pain, and eases inflammation. It also helps regulate blood sugar.

TurmericReduces inflammation, Aids in detoxification of the liver. Reduces digestive distress (especially IBS)

Broccoli: This superfood is not only a cancer fighter but fights inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.

Parsley: Reduces inflammation, bloating, gas, acid reflux, and constipation.

Asparagus: Not only is it loaded with nutrients, a cancer-fighter, and an aid in weight-loss, it is a natural diuretic. With increased urination, the body releases fluid and helps rid itself of excess salts.

Ingredients
  • 1 quart organic bone broth or chicken broth
  • 8 oz chicken breast optional
  • 4 sticks celery
  • 1 cup broccoli with stems (chopped)
  • 1 onion (roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup asparagus (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3-6 lemons-juiced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon tumeric
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Chop all vegetables. Pour chicken broth into the pot. Turn heat to medium and add chopped vegetables and spices. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. Add fresh lemon juice. Remove the chicken breast, shred with 2 forks and set aside.

    Pour all the ingredients into a blender, or use an emulsifier and blend to a smooth consistency. Add shredded chicken.
