Detox Smoothie Recipe

This Detox Smoothie will help alkalize, detox your body and stabilize your blood sugar. Jumpstarting your Healthy Habit Reset!

The chlorophyll in greens help rid the body of harmful environmental toxins from herbicides, cleaning products, toxic metals and pesticides. They also aid the liver in detoxification.

Kale Is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet loaded with vitamin A, C and E. It’s also a powerful antioxidant. Parsley helps decrease blood sugar levels, and cinnamon helps stabilize blood sugar. Parsley also help decrease inflammation and detox the liver.

Cucumbers are hydrating and also reduce inflammation. Lemon is an excellent source of vitamin C.  Avocado, almond milk and kefir make the smoothie creamy and delicious! The superfoods, avocado and flax seeds, are healthy fats. Flax seed, among many other benefits, helps reduce sugar cravings.

  • 1-2 handfuls kale, spinach or a power green mixture
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 2 tbsp kefir
  • 1 t chia or flax seeds
  • 1/4 t cinnamon
  • 1 serving protein powder (**(I use My Smart whey from Usana)
  • 1 packet probiotics ( ** (I prefer Usana.))
  • 1 scoop Organifi Green Juice
  • 3/4 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • Add Stevia if not sweet enough
  1. Blend all ingredients on high speed until smooth. ENJOY!
