3 Tips to Shorten Your Workouts but Still Get Massive Results

Short on Time??? Not seeing the results you want from your workout??

I don’t believe you need to spend HOURS in the gym in order to get results. In fact, my Fit Soul Programs all include workouts that are only 10-30 minutes long. That’s it!

Here are my 3 tips to shorten your workouts and still get the results you are looking for…



By increasing the intensity of your workouts, you speed up your metabolism, build more muscle, and shed fat FAST! Plus, higher intensity workouts will help you regulate your blood sugar, improve your oxygen consumption (no more out of breath feeling), and reduce your heart rate and blood pressure!

You can increase the intensity of your workouts by adding supersets, using plyometric or jumping movements, or limiting the amount of rest in between exercises.


Compound movements involve working multiple muscle groups at the same time. This helps to lower body fat and increase muscle mass. My favorites are full body, functional movements that are similar to the movements you perform in every day life (like picking up something off the floor).

For example, instead of doing just bicep curls, do lunges with a curl and then into an overhead press. Or, movements like squats, push-ups, and single-leg reaches are all great examples of compound movements.


Y’all, get EXCITED to workout! Exercise isn’t just something you have to do, it’s something you GET to do! Jump up and down, dance around, do something that is EXCITING for you!

I LOVE having really upbeat music to pump me up, or working with a really energetic instructor or coach (you know, someone similar to my energy level)!

Another way to up your energy is by making sure you are properly hydrated. You HAVE to have energy to use energy, so make sure your fueled up appropriately!
